Ukraine Partnership Foundation (UPF) exists to help raise up dynamic Christian leaders, primarily in Ukraine, by supporting the Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary (UBTS), the Institute for Leadership & Coaching (ILC), and WeCare Centers (WCC).
We began supporting UBTS through church-directed funds in 2006. With the demonstrated on-the-ground effectiveness of UBTS and its related ministries, and a groundswell of U.S. interest for the work in Ukraine, UPF was established as an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization in 2011.
Under the leadership of Yaroslav (Slavik) Pyzh and by the Grace of God, these ministries continue to equip increasing numbers of Christian leaders with the skills and values that will guide Ukraine’s future. Our dream is a transformed Ukraine where Christ followers love, lead, and serve with joy and integrity.
“I am truly in awe of what is being done in Ukraine by UBTS, the Institute for Leadership & Coaching, and WeCare Centers throughout the country. With the help of many supporters, we are providing not only education, but also physical, emotional, and spiritual care to address the current suffering. Tens of thousands of Ukraine’s most vulnerable are being cared for at WeCare Centers throughout the country. What a blessing that people like us – from 5,000 miles away – have the opportunity to help so many Ukrainians endure the atrocities of war and rebuild their country with dignity and integrity. We humbly invite you to join us in this Kingdom-building work.”
