Institute for Leadership & Coaching

Developing leaders with a Biblical world view

The Institute for Leadership & Coaching (ILC) develops Ukrainians who want to lead in their families, workplaces, and circles of influence with a Biblical world view. The ILC’s 21 programs teach students how to apply their training and skills to mentoring and coaching, media communications, team development, and organizational leadership to build a stronger civil society.

All WeCare Center leaders receive ILC training to help them manage their local WeCare ministries with excellence and integrity. Classes are taught by UBTS faculty and guests from partner organizations such as New Thing, and Send Relief.

NewThing, a global Christian organization committed to seeing a church planted in every community around the world, provides expert training and resources to the people who are already doing this challenging work in their own communities. WeCare Centers Ukraine partnered with NewThing to provide training for all WeCare Center leaders – equipping them to expand their influence and impact through networking and collaboration. In this video, the NewThing team shares their excitement about how God is at work in Ukraine.

The war has created an unprecedented leadership vacuum in Ukraine. In this video, Slavik Pyzh, president of Ukraine Partnership Missions, describes the need to train and develop committed and competent leaders for Ukraine’s churches and throughout society – and what the ILC is doing to promote leadership learning and values.
