Ukraine Partnership Foundation is an independent U.S. charitable organization that supports Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary, WeCare Centers, and the Institute for Leadership & Coaching – all located in Ukraine. Together we are equipping leaders for local churches, caring for war-torn families, and strengthening local communities.

Who We Are

A foundation built to support Ukrainian education and ministries.

UPF exists to provide philanthropic resources, advocacy, leadership counsel, and shared accountability for the education and ministries led by our team in Ukraine.

All on-the-ground initiatives are managed by Ukrainians who understand the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people and communities they serve.

We oversee and promote this vital work and solicit financial and material support from individual donors, churches, seminaries, foundations, and mission organizations that share our vision for the transformation of Ukraine.

Our Story

A partnership shaped by trusted relationships.

UPF grew from relationships between a small group of individuals in the U.S. and effective Ukrainian educators and ministry leaders. As those relationships deepened, supporters created a dedicated foundation to help sustain and expand the work.

2006

Support for UBTS begins

Individuals began directing funds to support Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary and its work preparing Christian leaders.
2011

UPF becomes an independent nonprofit

Growing U.S. interest and confidence in the work led to the establishment of Ukraine Partnership Foundation as an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
2022

The partnership expands

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, UPF immediately launched emergency humanitarian relief efforts through UBTS. This partnership led to the creation of the WeCare Center network, alongside the Institute for Leadership & Coaching to train WeCare Center and nonprofit leaders.

UPF provides financial support and leadership counsel to our team in Ukraine who oversee all UBTS, WeCare Centers, and ILC operations.

Built to serve the mission with integrity.

UPF is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. No officer or director receives compensation for board service.

Our all-volunteer Advocacy Board supports and advances the mission and objectives of UPF by advocating for the educational and ministry needs of our work in Ukraine.

Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. UPF’s tax-exempt identification number is 27-4595107. Donors should consult their own professional advisors regarding individual tax circumstances.
