Your gifts to UPF help equip and encourage emerging Christian leaders, transform churches and communities, and create Kingdom impact wherever UBTS students and graduates live and serve.
We are deeply grateful for the generous and faithful UPF supporters who donated $2.5 million in 2018-19 to UPF’s Capital Campaign, enabling UBTS to purchase a nearby building and begin renovations that are transforming it into an academic facility able to accommodate the seminary’s steady growth in enrollment. That work continues!
See the impact of your prior gifts – and a glimpse of the future – in this video tour.
In support of our mission to help raise up dynamic Christian leaders in Ukraine, we invite you to prayerfully consider making a one-time or recurring gift to one of the funding priorities listed below.
Complete the Academic Building
Help complete Phase 2 of the UBTS campus building! This yet-to-be-completed part of the building contains additional classrooms, the chapel, a kitchen and cafeteria, and a music studio. The chapel is the heart of the building – an essential sacred space where the UBTS community can gather as one for worship and teaching, or individually for quiet reflection and study. Your gift will encourage and inspire UBTS faculty and students as they live the mission!

Lighten the Financial Burden for UBTS Students
UBTS utilizes a Cohort System of instruction for students pursuing the four-year Bachelor’s degree and Diploma programs. Students leave families and jobs, travel to UBTS in Lviv for one week of on-campus study; return home for five weeks; then return to UBTS.
Prior to the global pandemic, this process was repeated six times a year, or three times in each semester.
Students come to UBTS from throughout Ukraine, including the War Zone. Train travel from Eastern Ukraine can exceed 24 hours one-way and out-of-pocket expenses are substantial.
While plans are underway to reduce one of these annual trips to Lviv through distance learning options, the financial challenge for students and their families remains.
Your contributions to UBTS Student Financial Aid will lighten the financial burden for students by decreasing their out-of-pocket costs to attend classes. Gifts of any amount are welcome – and demonstrate your support for UBTS students who are advancing God’s Kingdom in Ukraine.

Help Us Close the Budget Gap
The new UBTS academic building was acquired through generous donations to our Capital Campaign; construction and renovation are underway. UBTS plans to systematically transition all academic instruction from the current facility to the new building as student enrollment grows.
The tuition UBTS asks student to pay covers less than 20% of the cost of their education annually. Given Ukraine’s economic situation, this subsidized approach is critical – it would be impossible for students to pay the full cost. UBTS depends on philanthropic gifts to fill the gap between tuition revenue and operating costs.
We ask you to prayerfully consider a multi-year gift to support UBTS operations. Every gift helps close the gap and secure the future.

Scholarships for Students with Physical Challenges
Many physically disabled students who would like to attend UBTS are not able to do so because they cannot travel to the seminary for in-person classes. In Fall 2020, UBTS will offer a one-year, five-course certificate program in Church Ministry that will be delivered completely online. This course will equip students with physical disabilities to serve and lead in their local churches – a quality learning opportunity that might otherwise be unavailable to them.
UPF has established an endowed scholarship fund that will cover the $200 program cost for physically disabled students.
If you share our desire to demonstrate God’s love by extending an exceptional learning opportunity to a believer with physical challenges in Ukraine, please use the button below to make a secure, online gift.
